There is a Foot Print Relic of the Lord Buddha.
Sri Pada is a significant pilgrimage site not only for the Sri Lankans but for all the people world wide.
The sacred footprint of Lord Buddh is placed on an extremely fantastic spectacle with much holy value. It is our almost duty to protect this sacred land with overflowing nature for the future generation. Enjoy but respect. Protect it for tomorrow

Please don't take Alcohol, Polythene and Plastic for Sri Pada.

Protect this exquisite paradise which is abundant of stunning nature,water streams and wildlife. The devotees who come to pay homage to the holy left footprint of Lord Buddha should be conscious of the fact that they are on a holy pilgrimage. They should also prevent bringing intoxicants and polythene to the holy land. The devotees are expected to maintain high sense of discipline while engaging in the holy expedition as the journey is contrasting to other mere outings. To you who engage in the holy expedition during the season.... 
The pilgrims can obtain all the facilities needed  during the season of holy expedition. 


If You wish to travel in Season...
You can get all the facilities in your pilgrimage when you worship Sri Pada in Season.

Resting Places, Refreshment stalls, Police Stations and other medical facilities you can get if You are on Hatton - Nallathanni Route and Sri Palabaddala Route.

But If You choose Kuruwita - Erathna Route you will have to face less facilities and very few resting places. Because of this is a Jungle route.
Permanent transporting services available in Ratnapura and Hatton in Season.

If you choose Maliboda, Mukkuwaththa and Rajamale routes you have to travel without these facilities.

If You wish to travel in Off Season..

"Its really hard to travel off season because of heavy rain, wind and affect of the wild animals"
But if you are a Nature Lover, Off season is the great time to travel Sri Pada.
Without Human activities Sri Pada is a Heaven in our World

In off season there are no facilities even if you had same facilities on season.
You have to prepare all these facilities on your own.
But resting places are available in Season and Off season.
